We offer a Kiwiana experience for the whole family to enjoy. Choose from one of many childhood games to play while you unwind and relax. We even have a free to play arcade machine, loaded with over 3,000 games, in our inside space.

These are not your standard kiwi pie, these are a "Big Granddad" deep dish pie. Made with premium quality ingredients, served in golden pastry without the gristly bits. These pies take two days to make and come in a variety of great flavours including bacon and egg, steak, chicken and vegetarian combinations.
​We serve these as a meal with chef salad and fries.
These pies are featured in the "Best Gourmet Pies of New Zealand" book (and even got the front cover!).

The food here was absolutely incredible and the staff were lovely. They had lots of vegetarian/ vegan options and were super mindful of allergies/dietary requirements when taking orders. I had the summer five spice tofu roll and fancy affogato drink and it was so good! They also had water available for dogs.
​I would 100% recommend.

Hand ground steak made into a smash burger. Whoop! In the top 5 of burgers I have ever had. Fish of the day was also super good. And then came back later for French vanilla ice cream. Super friendly owners.

Magnificent. We had the slow cooked pork belly and the spectacular sundae. It was amazing. The stuff was super nice. Close by is a beautiful beach were you can go for a walk.

Long time reader first time reviewer. Let me start off.

The Peaks team are absolutely amazing.

My wife and I had the pork belly roll and the burger, We cut them in half and shared so we could both enjoy this amazing food.

Pork belly roll was fantastic, a really great play on a Bahn Mi. Fresh and delicious with tender pork. Certainly worth giving a try.

BURGER TIME! This burger is next level, I can not remember the last time I had a burger that stood out from the rest. This burger does!
If you do not have the burger your are missing out, this will be that one day in your life you made a bad decision that you will live to regret.

One of the greatest joys in my life is travelling for food, it brings a connection to people, culture and opens doors that you would never typically experience.

It is so amazing to see great people creating great food with care and passion for their craft.

If I have one criticism is that I have to go home with the memory of this banging food and I can’t shoot down the road to get another bite.

The Catlins is one of my greatest experiences, but that burger will bring me back.

Simply the BEST food truck I've ever visited! They aren't exaggerating when they call it gourmet. Every bite of the summer pork belly roll was worth savouring, full of melt-in-your-mouth meat and topped with delicious homegrown herbs and veges. The chips were cooked to perfection, light and crispy with a very satisfying crunch and great sauces. And the ice cream was an absolute masterpiece, almost too beautiful to eat (but of course, not quite). I wish I could've tried everything!

Even on a grey Catlins day and shortly before closing time, the hosts were friendly and welcoming, the ambience fantastic and the sheltered dining area full of various games to play. Thank you so much, Nikki and Tom, for providing a wee oasis in the deep south. A MUST VISIT for anyone adventuring in the Catlins! Treat yourselves to a food truck like you've never experienced before.

Amazing gluten free food! I have coeliac disease and ate here safely. The chef told me everything could be made gluten free.

This place is a gem. We had amazing eats (tofu sandwich 110%), ice cream and coffee. Plus super cute general store.
​The employees are all lovely.
We feel lucky we got to go twice on our trip!!
